Sanity

ABnormal presents their flagship custom earbud in 2023 called SANITY. Sanity based on Yuin shell with 14.8mm driver, it comes in pearl matte white shell with detail specification as follow :

Detail Specification:

- 14.8 cygnus driver

- Yuin PK shell 14.8mm

- Gold plated plug 3.5mm

- Copper 5N OFC 7core /side

- Siltech tin termination

- Cable clip and jack protector

- Foam/sponge spares

Sanity sound character is balance, neutral and vocal centric. Based on my subjective listening experience, Sanity was good in speed control when I played playlist such as Rage Against the Machine, also it has proper bass quantity. As you know that Yuin PK shell and 14.8mm driver is a hardworking for many builder to find the proper and best tuning sound. But, ABnormal through Sanity has made a breakthrough and if you look for Yuin PK shell with vokal centric and balance tonal, I think you can consider the Sanity. Listening experience using mobile phone as the most fundamental source to explore the real sound character, using DAP and amplification will shall be better to improve and maximize sound signature. Description based on my ears and may subjective opinion.
